Fractal: es un objeto semi geométrico cuya estructura básica, fragmentada o irregular, se repite a diferentes escalas.El término fue propuesto por el matemático Benoît Mandelbrot en 1975 y deriva del Latín fractus, que significa quebrado o fracturado.
